Everton have successfully re-acquired Jack Harrison on a season-long loan from Leeds United. Harrison had previously spent the last season on loan at Goodison Park, where he made 35 appearances and scored four goals. Despite Leeds United failing to secure promotion to the Premier League last season, the 27-year-old midfielder is heading back to Everton for a second stint.

In a statement, Harrison expressed his excitement about returning to Everton, highlighting the great club atmosphere, the fantastic group of players, and his eagerness to start training for the upcoming season. He reflected on his enjoyable experience at the club last year, despite facing challenges, and emphasized his desire to contribute more to the team this time around.

Harrison mentioned that the positive environment at Everton, including the fans, staff, manager, and teammates, made him feel comfortable and motivated to return. He believes that he has more to offer on the pitch and is determined to prove his capabilities to himself and the club. With a full pre-season ahead of him, Harrison is looking forward to hitting the ground running and making a significant impact for Everton.

Having initially joined Leeds on loan from Manchester City in 2018, Harrison made his move permanent in 2021 before signing a contract extension at Elland Road in April 2023, which runs until June 2028. This signing reflects Everton’s commitment to bolstering their squad for the upcoming season and Harrison’s ambition to continue making his mark in the Premier League.
