10,000 Immediate Interviews Conducted by Manufacturers Events for Emirati Talent

The second session of the “Manufacturers” exhibition for jobs in industry and advanced technology was recently concluded in Abu Dhabi. Hosted by the Abu Dhabi Energy Center from April 21 to 23, the exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirates Competitiveness Council (NAFES), and the ADNOC Group. This unique exhibition is the first of its kind to offer Emiratis immediate interviews leading to employment.

More than 4,200 young Emiratis from various emirates attended the exhibition, and over 10,000 immediate interviews were conducted with representatives from 83 companies. Many Emirati talents secured direct employment opportunities in the industrial and advanced technology sector as a result. The exhibition provided over 800 job opportunities for Emiratis, including positions for citizens of determination in industrial, technological, and service companies in the private sector.

The event aimed to align with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology and the “National Content Programme”. It also supports the “Made in the Emirates” initiative and emphasizes the Ministry’s strategic goals to enhance the competitiveness and growth of the industrial sector. The exhibition serves as a platform to bring together government partners, the private sector, training agencies, and job seekers, providing opportunities based on the needs of factories.

Organizations like the National Competitiveness Council (NAFES) and ADNOC Group play crucial roles in supporting Emiratisation in the private sector. The exhibition not only provides job opportunities for Emirati youth but also enhances their perspectives on employment fairs and immediate employment and training opportunities. The collaboration between partners aims to increase job opportunities for citizens in the private sector, particularly in value-added fields like the industrial sector and advanced technology.
