12-year-old prodigy aims to make math and science more accessible for college-bound students

Suborno Bari is passionate about physics, finding joy in visualizations, graphs, and diagrams. His exceptional growth and understanding have allowed him to skip grades, making him the youngest graduate from Malverne High School at just 12 years old. Not only is he academically advanced, but he is also an author and has lectured college classes in India. Suborno even tutors his older classmates, impressing them with his knowledge and skills.

His teachers and peers recognize his exceptional talents, with his AP chemistry teacher noting that he is a unique case among the school’s gifted students. Former President Barack Obama even acknowledged Suborno’s intellectual gift when he was just four years old, leaving his family in awe. His mother noticed his brilliance early on, realizing that he was unlike other children.

Despite his young age, Suborno has big dreams of using his knowledge to help people around the world understand math and science. He aspires to become a professor and provide valuable resources to those in need. With a full scholarship to NYU, he plans to study math and physics, aiming to earn his Bachelor’s degree by 14 and a Doctorate by 18.

Suborno’s graduation on June 26th marks the beginning of his journey towards achieving his ambitious goals in academia. His remarkable achievements and unwavering passion for science and math set him apart as a true prodigy with a bright future ahead.
