Suborno Bari, a student from Malverne, New York, has always had a strong passion for physics. He finds the visualizations, graphs, and diagrams in physics fascinating and enjoys understanding the underlying messages. Bari’s exceptional growth and understanding of the subject allowed him to skip several grades, making him the youngest graduate in the history of Malverne High School at just 12 years old.
Bari is not only academically gifted but also an accomplished author, having published his first book at the age of seven. He even had the opportunity to lecture a college class in India. Despite his young age, Bari generously takes the time to tutor his older classmates, demonstrating his natural talent for teaching and sharing knowledge.
His exceptional abilities have not gone unnoticed, with former President Barack Obama recognizing Bari’s intellectual gift at a young age. Bari’s family was surprised by this unexpected acknowledgment, but his parents had noticed his unique abilities early on. His mother, Shaheda Bari, recalls how he always stood out as being different from other children.
Bari’s ultimate goal is to become a professor and help people worldwide understand math and science. He will be attending NYU on a full scholarship to pursue his passion for math and physics. With plans to earn his Bachelor’s degree at 14 and a Doctorate at age 18, Bari is on track to achieve his dreams and make a significant impact in the field of academia.
