The 2023 JAX World Series of Darts Finals is set to begin in Amsterdam on Friday, featuring three Dutch players in the star-studded opening night. Taking place at AFAS Live from September 15th to September 17th, the 9th stage of the World Series of Darts Finals will see reigning champion Gerwin Price aiming to defend his title in the Dutch capital. The first round on Friday will consist of eight games, with invitees competing for a spot in the second round on Saturday. Notable matchups include former finalists Danny Knoppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode going head to head in an exciting all-Dutch showdown, as well as Raymond van Barneveld returning to his homeland to take on US Darts Masters runner-up Jeff Smith. Other matches to watch out for include 2021 champion Johnny Clayton facing off against Martin Schindler, and Damon Heta, Krzysztof Ratajski, Gabriel Clemens, and Simon Whitlock also competing in the first round.
