52-year-old runs 200m in 34.44 seconds, Snoop Dogg wows crowd with mic drop moments at US trials

Snoop Dogg recently made an appearance at the US Olympic Athletics Trials in Eugene, Oregon. The legendary rapper participated in a 200-meter exhibition race wearing a track suit in the colors of the American flag and a Team USA shirt in tribute to the late Kobe Bryant. Snoop lined up against Ato Boldon and Wallace Spearmon, finishing a distant third but still managing a respectable time of 34.44 seconds.

Despite not winning the race, Snoop was in good spirits and posed with his time after the event. He is also set to be a Special Correspondent for NBC’s primetime Games coverage in Paris, providing a unique perspective on the competition. Snoop made quirky comments during the broadcast of the men’s 3000m steeplechase, expressing surprise at the event and the steeplechase competitors’ abilities. NBC praised Snoop’s commentary as “ELECTRIC” and something they never knew they needed.

The US trials have seen top athletes like Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles secure their spots for the upcoming Games. Snoop expressed his enjoyment of the weekend and respect for all the world-class athletes performing at the trials. Overall, Snoop’s presence at the event added an entertaining and unique twist to the competition.
