68 days until the Cardinals face off against the Bills in the season opener

As we approach the start of the 2024 NFL regular season, the Arizona Cardinals are gearing up for training camp. In exactly three weeks, the team will report for camp in preparation for their Week 1 road game against the Buffalo Bills on September 8, 68 days from now. No. 68 on the Cardinals roster is tackle Kelvin Beachum, a key player who has been with the team since 2020.

Beachum has been an impact player for the Cardinals, serving as the team’s primary backup swing tackle. He initially signed a one-year deal in 2020, starting all 16 games at right tackle. Beachum then re-signed on a two-year deal, starting 15 games at right tackle in 2021 and all 17 games in 2022, transitioning to left tackle later in the season. Although he became a backup in 2023 after re-signing on a two-year deal, Beachum was named the Cardinals’ Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2021.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue the countdown to the start of the season. For more insights, listen to the latest episode of Cards Wire’s podcast, Rise Up, See Red, hosted by Jess Root.
