A Fancy Gap Dad Celebrates his Healthy Triplets’ First Father’s Day in the Hospital

Father’s Day is a special occasion where we honor the men who have raised and supported us. One father, Isaac Flippin, is celebrating his first Father’s Day with his new triplets. Isaac and his wife Mackenzie found out they were expecting not one, but three babies when Mackenzie was just 8 weeks into her pregnancy.

As the pregnancy progressed, Mackenzie was admitted to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in North Carolina, an hour away from their home in Fancy Gap. The uncertainty of the situation was overwhelming for the couple, especially when they didn’t know if they would have to deliver the babies prematurely.

After 29 weeks of pregnancy, River, Ridge, and Wrenlie were born. Although the babies are still in the hospital, Isaac and Mackenzie are relieved that the triplets are healthy. Isaac mentioned how nerve-wracking the experience has been, but they are finally reaching a point where they can breathe a little easier.

Isaac is spending his first Father’s Day in the hospital with his babies and couldn’t be happier. He looks forward to the day when they can bring the triplets home to Virginia. The Flippin family is planning to introduce their new additions to their home in Fancy Gap in late July.

Their joy and excitement are palpable as they navigate their new roles as parents to triplets. This Father’s Day is a special milestone for Isaac as he cherishes the time spent with his newborns in the hospital.
