The manufacturer of non-smart mobile phones, Light Phone, has recently launched their new iteration of devices called the Phone III. This phone aims to redefine the concept of telephony by offering a simple device that is used solely for calling and receiving calls, without the distractions of applications and social networks. The Light Phone III comes with a black and white screen, a metal frame, and white numbers.

The original Light Phone was incredibly light, weighing only 38 grams and 5.3 centimeters wide. It had a battery that lasted 20 days on standby and only had a white light to illuminate the numbers when receiving calls. The new Light Phone III has a 3.92-inch Full HD panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 1,240 and a weight of 124 grams. The device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, 6 GB RAM, and 128GB of storage space. It also includes a 50 MP camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.

The battery of the Light Phone III is 1,800 mAh and supports 5G connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM, GPS, and NFC. The phone comes with pre-installed applications like an alarm and a timer. It features a fingerprint identification system, flashlight, and an address book. The operating system is LightOS and the phone uses a physical wheel to scroll through options and access tools like the calculator, calendar, music player, and voice memos.

The Light Phone III can be reserved for $399 during the introductory offer, but will later cost $799. This phone is designed to provide a tool for a better life, offering a simple and minimalist alternative to traditional smartphones.
