According to Kela, the income register has reportedly reduced suspicions of abuse in some of the benefits. Suspected abuses of social benefits have remained low between 2018 and 2023, with just under half of all paid benefits suspected of abuse. The majority of suspicions were directed at basic income support, followed by unemployment insurance and general housing support. Kela states that the income register system has effectively reduced suspicions of abuse in unemployment insurance and housing allowance.

Suspected abuse of benefits registered by Kela are cases where the customer has been consulted about suspected abuse and where Kela has made a decision on the matter. It is considered abuse if the beneficiary intentionally tries to unjustifiably obtain a benefit or more than he is entitled to.

Additionally, the rest of the content provided seems to be unrelated to the topic of reducing suspicions of benefit abuse and is a mix of other topics such as air freight, logistics, health insurance, global delivery landscape, and more. Each of these topics should be organized into its own paragraph and discussed separately.
