Adena Health Welcomes Two New Vascular Surgeons to its Growing Team

Adena Health has recently welcomed two new vascular surgeons to their team as part of their expanding services. Dr. Rahul Kar and Dr. Vikram Rao bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles. Dr. Rao, who has been practicing in the Cleveland area for almost 20 years, is board-certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery. He received his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in India and completed his residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Kar, on the other hand, worked as a vascular surgeon in Washington, D.C. before returning to Ohio. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship in New York and California, respectively.

Both physicians are highly trained in a variety of vascular procedures, including aortic disease, carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease. They are committed to providing the most current and advanced treatments to the community. Dr. Kar stated in a news release that vascular surgery is a field that is constantly evolving, and patients in the community deserve access to the latest advancements in care. Dr. Rao echoed this sentiment, reassuring patients that they have the best team of providers who truly care about their well-being.

Their goal is to offer quality, modern vascular care to patients in the area, making sure they feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment. With their expertise and dedication, Dr. Kar and Dr. Rao are looking forward to making a difference in the field of vascular surgery at Adena Health.
