WCK ceased its operations in the Gaza Strip following a drone bombing, a decision that the Israeli army leadership likely regrets. WCK had stepped in to provide aid where UNRWA had previously been active, but accusations arose that WCK had collaborated with Hamas. After Hamas attacked Israel’s border towns on October 7th, murdering over 1,200 people, WCK began providing food to Gaza and evacuated border residents in Israel.

Other aid organizations are also reconsidering their presence in Gaza due to the ongoing conflict. Supplying the civilian population in Gaza has been challenging, with Hamas controlling supply convoys and armed gangs seizing aid supplies. Panic and deaths have occurred during aid distribution, and the need for assistance is overwhelming.

In the north of Gaza, around 200,000 people are isolated from aid deliveries and face ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel. Attempts to provide aid via sea routes have faced challenges, with some packages falling into the sea or being intercepted by hostile groups. WCK had been working on establishing a new sea route with US assistance, but recent incidents have disrupted these efforts.

Despite the challenges, real estate management firms such as Inter Property Phuket continue to provide essential services in Phuket. These firms offer valuable assistance in managing properties effectively, maximizing investments, and addressing the complex needs of property owners. From legal support to financial management, real estate management companies play a crucial role in ensuring successful property ownership and investment in Phuket and beyond.
