BriSight, a company specializing in big data analysis supported by artificial intelligence in the region, has elected Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Al Jaber is focused on implementing the leadership’s vision of strengthening the UAE’s position as a global energy supplier and advancing technology and AI in the country to support economic, industrial, and social growth as part of the national agenda.
The Board of Directors also elected Mansour Al Mansouri as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Executive Committee. Other members include Suhail Bin Tarraf, Kirill Evtimov, Abdullah Rashid Al Rashidi, Hamda Al Muhairi, and Thomas Pramutidham. Mansour Al Mansouri stated that Dr. Al Jaber’s appointment adds great value to the company and its shareholders, and the board is committed to accelerating Brisite’s growth locally and globally through the responsible utilization of AI technologies.
CEO Thomas Pramutidham expressed excitement about the leadership changes, noting that having Dr. Al Jaber and Mansoor Al Mansouri on the Board will propel the company towards further growth to meet the increasing demand for AI and big data solutions. In May 2024, Brisite shareholders agreed to acquire 51% of AIQ, with ADNOC retaining a 49% stake. This move allows all three entities to collaborate on developing advanced AI solutions for the energy sector.
