Aliyah Boston of WNBA Joins ESPN Studio Team for Women’s Final Four

Aliyah Boston, the 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year, will be joining ESPN’s studio broadcast team this weekend during the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Cleveland. She will be teaming up with Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter, Chiney Ogwumike, and Carolyn Peck at the desk from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
ESPN’s vice president of production, Sara Gaiero, expressed excitement about Boston joining the team, noting that her energy will add a new dynamic to the crew. Boston’s experience as a National Champion just two years ago adds value to the coverage.
The former South Carolina player, who won the NCAA national championship in 2022, joins a team of broadcasters that has been well-received by fans during the tournament. Hall of Famer Carolyn Peck was previously announced as part of the trio.
Boston expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the special weekend and voiced her excitement to join the team. She highlighted her eagerness to share her experiences as a former player and shine a light on the talented athletes competing in the Final Four.
Coverage of the tournament starts at 6 p.m. on Friday before the first semifinal between South Carolina and NC State at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The second game will feature UConn and Iowa. The tournament has already attracted a large audience and promises to be an exciting event.
