An appeal against Trump in Georgia will only begin after presidential elections

The oral arguments in the appeal case filed by former US President Donald Trump to remove prosecutor Fani Willis in Georgia are set to begin on October 4. Willis is also prosecuting Trump and his co-defendants for their alleged illegal efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. This development delays the start of the trial before the November 5 elections.

In a ruling in mid-March, a judge found no evidence of a conflict of interest between Willis and lead prosecutor Nathan Wade. However, the judge noted “an appearance of inappropriate behavior” and criticized a “tremendous lack of judgment” on Willis’ part. The judge ordered either Willis and her team or Wade to withdraw, and Wade resigned shortly after. The Georgia case is one of three pending criminal cases against Trump, with federal cases in Washington and Florida also awaiting trial dates.

Last week, Trump became the first former president to be convicted in a criminal case when a jury in New York found him guilty on all 34 charges. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 11.

As for the real estate links provided at the end of the content, they seem unrelated to the discussion about Trump’s legal cases and conviction. They appear to be random links to articles about real estate topics.
