During ISC 2024, we had the opportunity to visit the Eviden booth, which was bustling with activity as it was the focal point of Europe’s leading HPC-AI systems vendor. The tour kicked off with a business and customer update from Emmanuel Le Roux, the Eviden Group SVP and Head of Advanced Computing & AI. He shared news of recent contract wins in Brazil, Denmark, and Germany, as well as updates on existing customers like the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
Le Roux also highlighted Eviden’s advancements in the TOP500 list of the world’s most powerful supercomputers and the Green500 list of energy-efficient HPC systems. The Eviden JEDI development system at Julich, part of the upcoming Jupiter exascale supercomputer, secured the top position in the Green500 list. In addition to this, we received updates on Eviden’s HPC-AI servers, ranging from edge AI inference to data center HPC-class servers for model training.
Furthermore, senior company managers discussed Eviden’s quantum computing technology and the cloud-based Jarvice as-a-service product line. The breadth of innovations and achievements showcased by Eviden during the tour demonstrated its commitment to advancing the field of HPC-AI systems.
