Are you experiencing disruptions due to Palomar Health Medical Group network problems?

Palomar Health Medical Group’s networks have been experiencing technical difficulties since May 5 due to suspicious activity on certain computer systems within its network, as reported by KPBS news partner 10News. As a result, phones, faxes, and patient portals were taken offline to prevent the potential spread of malware. PHMG is currently working with third-party forensic specialists to restore network operations and investigate the nature and scope of the suspicious activity.

Despite the network issues, Palomar Health Healthcare District, which includes Palomar Medical Center Escondido and Palomar Medical Center Poway, were not impacted and remain operational. PHMG facilities are open and continue to offer care to patients, but delays may occur in accessing services.
