Armenia and Azerbaijan invited by the USA to join meeting with NATO partners.

The United States has invited Armenia and Azerbaijan at the level of foreign ministers to participate in the meeting with NATO 2024 partners within the framework of the Washington summit, according to Azerbaijani sources. US Deputy Secretary of State James O’Brien said in Baku that he expects both countries to participate in the event, along with a total of 30 partner countries.

Today, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs in Baku met with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. According to the Azerbaijani side, the US Deputy Secretary of State emphasized the commitment of the US to advance the regional peace agenda and the readiness of the United States to support this process.

The meeting highlighted the dedication of the United States to promote peace in the region. The US Deputy Secretary of State stressed their willingness to support efforts in this direction. The United States emphasized its commitment to the cause of regional peace and its willingness to provide support where needed.
