Bristol’s Ashton Gate will be the venue for both semi-finals at next year’s Women’s Rugby World Cup, which will take place from 22 August to 27 September. The 27,000-capacity stadium will also host quarter-finals along with Exeter’s Sandy Park. Exeter recently hosted the Premiership Women’s Rugby final.

The Red Roses will play in Northampton and Brighton and Hove during the pool stage, with group games also taking place in Manchester, York, and Exeter. The first tickets for the tournament will go on sale in September and will be priced between £5 and £95. The final at Twickenham will have the highest value non-hospitality ticket for an international women’s team sport event in the UK.

Rugby World Cup 2025 managing director Sarah Massey described the upcoming tournament as a “generational moment” and expects “unprecedented demand” for tickets. The tournament will feature a pricing structure that aims to make tickets accessible and attract new fans to watch. The previous women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in 2022 had 400,000 tickets available, double the number compared to the upcoming tournament.

In April 2023, a record crowd of 58,498 fans watched England secure a Six Nations Grand Slam against France at Twickenham. The first round of tickets for the opening RWC 2025 match in Sunderland and the final at Twickenham will go on sale on 24 September 2024, with the rest of the tickets available for purchase in October.
