At least seven people were killed and 18 others were injured in a Russian bombing targeting the Ukrainian town of Vilniusk in the southern Zaporizhia region, according to Interior Minister Igor Klimenko. The minister condemned the attack as a deliberate and cruel act against civilians who were enjoying their day off.

Among the casualties were two children who lost their lives, with four other children among the injured. The bombing caused fires in various commercial establishments, homes, and vehicles, as well as damaging civil infrastructure in the area.
