Attend an advising session for Health Science applications on June 27th

Emergency Medical Services is one of several Health Science programs at Wallace State Community College that will be available during an Application Advising Session on June 27 at 2 p.m. in the Tom Bevill Health Education Building. Other programs that will be highlighted at the meeting include Dental Assisting, Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Polysomnography (Sleep Lab), and Respiratory Therapy. Participants can apply to programs with openings for the fall 2024 semester.

The application advising session will be open to both previous and new applicants interested in the remaining openings for the fall 2024 semester. The meeting will take place in Room 116 on the first floor of the Tom Bevill Health Education Building. Lisa German, vice president for learning and dean of the Health Science programs, encourages anyone interested in entering the healthcare field to attend the session. This opportunity provides insight into the programs offered at Wallace State and guidance on the application process, especially for students who may have previously applied to another program but were unable to enroll.

The Health Science programs with openings for the fall 2024 semester include Dental Assisting, Emergency Medical Services, Health Information Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Polysomnography (Sleep Lab), and Respiratory Therapy.
