For Winters, Auburn has always been a top choice, and this weekend solidified his decision by creating a clear connection between himself, Georgia, and Miami.
Now committed to Auburn, Winters is already working to recruit other top players from Alabama to join him at Auburn. He has his eye on several players, including his teammate Zion Grady and other talented prospects like Alvin Henderson, Julian Lewis, and KJ Lacey. Winters is also working with Coach Freeze to bring in a group of top defensive players from Alabama known as the “Super 7.”
Ranked as the No. 5 recruit from Alabama in the 2025 cycle, Winters is the fourth top-10 player from the state to commit to Auburn. Standing at 6-2 and weighing 200 pounds, he is ranked as the No. 5 safety and the No. 53 overall recruit for the cycle.
