Awards Recognizing Distinguished Achievements of Alumni from the College of Business Administration

Mammel Hall, home to the UNO College of Business Administration, will be hosting the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Awards luncheon on May 16, 2024. This event will honor four esteemed alumni who have excelled in their respective fields and have made significant contributions to the business world. These honorees are a part of a prestigious group that now includes more than 100 distinguished UNO business alumni, all of whom come from a network of over 20,000 graduates.

Among the honorees are Patrick Bourne, who graduated in 1994 with a BSBA and currently serves as the Market Leader for Medica. Chris Carlson-Dennell, who earned his EMBA in 2005, is now the VP of Specialty Teams at The Reserves Network– Search & Staffing. David Craft, who holds a CFA and graduated with a BSBA in 1990 and an MBA in 1992, is currently the Director of Wealth & Investments at First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). Lastly, Ali S. Khan, who completed his EMBA in 2018, is a retired Assistant Surgeon General of the USPHS and now serves as the Dean of UNMC College of Public Health, holding the Richard D. Holland Presidential Chair in Public Health.
