Balmforth agrees to stay at Hull FC for another year

Hooker Denive Balmforth has proven himself in the Super League, making four appearances for Hull FC this season. The 20-year-old has showcased his talent with tries in recent games against Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos. His performances have earned him a one-year contract extension with the club.

Balmforth is part of a group of young players from Hull FC’s youth system who have committed to the team. Jack Charles, Davy Litten, Lewis Martin, and Logan Moy have all signed new deals, while Harvey Barron, Zach Jebson, and Matty Laidlaw have exercised options to stay for another season.

Director of rugby Richie Myler expressed his satisfaction with Balmforth’s decision to sign a one-year deal, showing ambition to secure a bigger contract in the future. This attitude aligns with the club’s focus on developing young players and instilling a drive for success.
