BAMKO Welcomes New VP to Spearhead Growth in Commercial Print Division

To lead this effort, the Los Angeles-headquartered promotional firm has appointed Michael O’Neal as the vice president of enterprise accounts. O’Neal’s main focus will be on developing and scaling BAMKO’s commercial print business, optimizing solutions for both new and existing clients.

President Jake Himelstein, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list, expressed excitement about O’Neal joining the BAMKO team. With a proven track record in the commercial print industry, strategic vision, and leadership skills, O’Neal is seen as the ideal candidate to lead the expansion into this market. Prior to joining BAMKO, O’Neal held senior positions at HALO Branded Solutions and InnerWorkings, showcasing his expertise in driving revenue growth and improving sales processes.

Described as a subject matter expert in commercial printing, O’Neal is expected to continue driving revenue growth, improving sales processes, and fueling productivity at BAMKO. The company sees the expansion into commercial print as a significant milestone in their growth trajectory, combining their expertise in branded merchandise with O’Neal’s leadership in commercial print to offer clients a comprehensive suite of marketing solutions.

In 2023, BAMKO’s annual sales declined by 12%, but the company returned to growth in the first quarter of 2024. Based on reported revenue in 2022, BAMKO ranked eighth on Counselor’s list of the largest distributors in the industry.
