Nicolo Barella, the Italian international, recently celebrated winning the 2024 Serie A title with Inter Milan. He has extended his contract with the club until 2029. Barella expressed his happiness and pride in continuing to play for Inter in a statement on the club’s website. He emphasized his belief in the club’s project and his excitement to continue fighting for its colors.

Barella, who is 27 years old, will also be representing Italy at Euro 2024 and hopes to win a second continental title with his national team. Despite picking up a muscle problem in a recent friendly match, he is expected to be in the starting XI when Italy faces Albania in their first match of the tournament on June 15.

Having been a key player for Inter last season, Barella contributed to their successful Serie A title win. He joined the club in 2019 from Cagliari and has since made 235 appearances while lifting two Scudettos and two Italian cups with the team. His contract extension reflects his commitment to Inter and his ambition to achieve further success with the club.
