Italian forward Andrea Belotti is set to undergo medical exams with Como in order to finalize his transfer from Roma. Belotti, who joined Roma from Torino in 2022, struggled to find his form with the Giallorossi and managed just 10 goals and four assists in 68 games under Jose Mourinho. After a loan spell at Fiorentina, where he showed some improvement with four goals and an assist in 24 appearances, Belotti is now ready to make the move to Como.
According to reports from TMW, Belotti will complete his medicals with Como in the coming hours and is set to sign a two-year contract with the newly promoted side. The transfer is said to be worth around €5 million. Despite interest from other clubs such as Real Betis, MLS clubs, and Saudi Arabian sides, Belotti was intent on staying in Italy.
It will be a new chapter for Belotti as he looks to make an impact with Como and help the team in their upcoming campaigns. The Italian forward will be hoping to rediscover his goal-scoring form and play a key role in Como’s success in the future.
