Bladen County’s Health and Human Services Hosts Medication Take Back Event

Bladen County Health and Human Services agency is taking action against prescription drug abuse by organizing a community-focused Medication Take Back event. Vicky Graham, a Health Educator II at the agency, has confirmed that the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Anderson’s Drug Store. The goal of this initiative is to safely dispose of unused or expired medications, which helps prevent drug misuse and protects the environment. Residents are encouraged to bring their unwanted medications to Anderson Drugs, where they will be safely disposed of free of charge.

The event details are as follows: Date – Saturday, April 27th, Time – 10 AM to 12 PM, Location – Anderson’s Drug Store, 206 S. Poplar St, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. This event offers a safe, convenient, and responsible way to get rid of prescription drugs while also educating the community on the potential for medication abuse. Everyone is welcome to participate in this event and contribute to making their community a safer place.
