Bologna have increased their offer to Union Berlin for Robin Gosens, proposing a loan with an option to buy for €7.5m plus bonuses. The Germany international is well-versed in Serie A, having previously played for Atalanta before transferring to Inter in January 2022 for €27.4m. Gosens was dissatisfied with his lack of playing time at Inter and made a return ‘home’ to Germany with Union Berlin last summer. In his time with the club, he has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 37 competitive appearances.
Having recently qualified for the Champions League, Bologna are eager to bring Gosens back to Italy. They have increased their offer to Union Berlin, proposing a loan of €1.5m with an option to buy for an additional €6m plus bonuses. It remains to be seen if Union Berlin will accept this offer, but Gosens is reportedly excited about the prospect of returning to Italy for a new chapter at Bologna’s Stadio Dall’Ara.
