In Witten-Annen (North Rhine-Westphalia), a video of a beating attack involving children has once again surfaced on social media. The victim in this case is a defenseless child, while the attackers are also children and are in the majority.

The video shows a shocking scene where a boy in a football jersey is standing at a bus stop with another boy who is shorter than him. The boy is coerced into apologizing by someone off-camera, and despite his apology, he is viciously attacked by the teenager in front of him. The attackers punch, kick, and knee the victim, who does not defend himself.

What is particularly disturbing is that no one intervenes to stop the attack, despite several other young people being present at the bus stop. The police are aware of the incident in Witten-Annen and have launched an investigation. The incident is part of a concerning trend of juvenile delinquency, with a significant number of suspects under the age of 18 in North Rhine-Westphalia.

This incident is reminiscent of previous cases where children have engaged in violent behavior, such as an attack involving 20 Syrian and Afghan children on a German boy in another city. The rise in such incidents highlights the urgent need for intervention and prevention strategies to address juvenile violence.
