The Kentucky Wildcats are preparing for their debut at the NCAA College World Series in Omaha. After sweeping Oregon State in the NCAA tournament super regional, they have secured their spot in the upcoming matchups. The Men’s College World Series is set to begin on Friday and will end by Monday, June 24 at the latest.

The tournament will be held at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Nebraska. The teams participating in the Division I College World Series include Tennessee, Florida State, Kentucky, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia, Texas A&M, and Florida. The games will kick off with matchups such as Tennessee vs. Florida State and Kentucky vs. NC State.

The College World Series finals are scheduled to take place from June 22-24. The tournament works by splitting the eight super regional winners into two double-elimination brackets. The games will be broadcast on ESPN for fans to watch. Charles Schwab Field Omaha has been the home of the Men’s College World Series since 2011.

The Men’s College World Series has a long history dating back to 1950 when it was first played in Omaha at Rosenblatt Stadium. The first NCAA Men’s College World Series took place in 1947 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Since then, Omaha has become the permanent home of the Division I College World Series.
