Broncos Wire is continuing their 90-man offseason roster series, and today they are taking a look at Phillip Dorsett, a tenth-year wide receiver wearing No. 13.

Before joining the Broncos, Dorsett was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 2015. He spent two seasons with the Colts before being traded to the New England Patriots in 2017. Dorsett had success with the Patriots, recording 73 receptions for 881 yards and eight touchdowns over three years.

In 2020, Dorsett signed with the Seattle Seahawks but missed the entire season due to a foot injury. He then played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seahawks, and Houston Texans in 2021, where he totaled 20 receptions for 257 yards and one touchdown.

Last summer, the Broncos signed Dorsett to their practice squad after finalizing their 53-man roster. He was elevated to the game-day roster twice during the season.

Dorsett faces long odds of making the Broncos’ 53-man roster in 2024 due to the team’s deep wide receiver depth chart. His best chance of staying with the team may be on the practice squad.
