During a press conference on Tuesday, Jets head coach Robert Saleh addressed questions regarding Haason Reddick’s absence from OTAs and running back Breece Hall working to the side during recent practices. Saleh explained that Hall is dealing with some lower-body issues but assured that it is nothing long-term concerning. The team is being cautious with Hall’s activity level to ensure he is fully ready to go by September. Last season, Hall demonstrated his speed and talent by amassing 1,585 yards from scrimmage, including a league-best 83-yard run. Saleh pointed out that Hall struggled to be himself until mid-season due to a torn ACL in his rookie year and the team is looking forward to more contributions from him this year.

Saleh praised Hall’s ability to make plays in open space, calling him a quarterback’s best friend who can turn a short pass into a big gain. Despite Rodgers’ absence last season due to injury, the Jets are optimistic about having a healthy and complete offensive unit this year. They recognize the potential of having all hands on deck and are looking for ways to get the ball in Hall’s hands to maximize his impact on the field.
