Safety Brady Breeze has officially joined the Cleveland Browns, as announced by the team on Wednesday. The Browns made room for Breeze on the roster by cutting kicker Lucas Havrisik.
Breeze had previously tried out for the Browns during their rookie minicamp last month. The young safety was originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played in five games for the Titans before being waived, and was then picked up by the Detroit Lions, where he played in six games before being cut at the end of the season.
After his time with the Lions, Breeze had brief stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans, but did not see any game action with either team. In total, Breeze has recorded six tackles in the 11 regular season games he has played in so far in his NFL career. We will have to wait and see how he performs with the Browns as he continues to develop in the league.
