The Browns concluded their offseason program on Thursday following the final minicamp practice. During the practice, there was a scare when Myles Garrett, the team’s edge rusher, appeared to injure his left hamstring during a defensive line drill. Garrett immediately sought out the team’s athletic trainers, Joe Sheehan and Gordon Williams, and did not participate in the rest of the practice. Instead, he did upper-body resistance band work on his own before talking with co-owner Dee Haslam. Despite the injury, Coach Kevin Stefanski expressed no concern and stated that Garrett would be fine.
After the incident, Garrett left the field in a Gator utility vehicle and has since been preparing for his youth camp at a local high school on Friday. Despite the scare during practice, it seems Garrett will be able to recover and continue with his offseason activities without major issues.
