The health and wellness of our communities rely on the generosity of our donors. By giving to WellSpan, donors help us improve the quality of care we provide through facility upgrades, new equipment, community outreach programs, and financial assistance for our patients.
When you donate to support our mission, you are making a tangible impact. For example, we have raised $5.7 million for the newly renovated WellSpan York Cancer Center, thanks to over 1,100 gifts from individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Additionally, we have provided over $100,300 to 75 patients and their families through the Adams County Cancer Patient Help Fund since May 2023, as well as awarded $96,000 to 31 local students pursuing their Registered Nursing degrees through the Kristin Runyon Memorial Scholarship.
Our employees also play a significant role in giving back. Through our annual iGive employee campaign, WellSpan employees have raised over $3.5 million in the last three years to support the health and well-being of our community. In addition to the exceptional care they provide each day, our employees exemplify a culture of giving that helps make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
