In Landsberg, Saxony-Anhalt, a tragic crime took place where Tino E. was brutally attacked and killed, leaving his loyal Labrador, “Keks,” by his side until the police arrived. The incident occurred on Reformation Day in 2023, puzzling the police for a long time. Tino E., a construction manager, was walking his dog when he was suddenly attacked from behind. It took three and a half weeks for the police in Leipzig to arrest the suspected killer, who was identified as Mario G., the ex-husband of Tino E.’s wife Anne.

Mario G. remained silent after his arrest and is set to face trial soon. The prosecutor’s office in Halle accused him of waiting for Tino E. and deliberately attacking him. The police were able to create a movement profile of the suspect using surveillance camera footage, showing that he traveled from his home in Leipzig to Sietzsch where the crime took place. The motive behind the attack seems to stem from a custody dispute between Mario G. and Anne over their daughter.

Despite the tragic event, Keks, the Labrador, remained loyal to his master and was the only witness to the crime. Mario G. has not provided any information about the allegations made against him, leaving many questions unanswered. The case continues to unfold as the legal proceedings progress.
