MNMW welcomes Cuesta as an associate in its tax division. Cuesta, a graduate of Lehman College with a bachelor of science in accounting, brings three years of public accounting experience and three years with a private organization to the role. Her areas of expertise include individual and business taxation and tax research. Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A. is a public accounting and consulting firm that offers a range of services including tax and accounting, business consulting, and forensic accounting.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon on September 12 to discuss strategies for combating burnout and stress. Melissa Severance, executive, career and leadership coach, will speak on mindful moments to fight burnout and stress. Marliss Brockington, director of lifelong learning education for the School District of Lee County, will also share information about a new program from the District’s Adult Education Department. The luncheon will take place at Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Myers and is sponsored by HBKS Wealth Advisors.

Priority Marketing has hired Kylie Burch as a public relations coordinator to support the firm in executing public relations strategies. Burch, a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, will be responsible for drafting, editing, and distributing news releases, monitoring media sources, and more. Priority Marketing offers a variety of public relations services including copywriting, media pitching, and crisis communications.

Fort Myers Brewing Company is preparing for its four-day Oktoberfest event from October 12-15. The event will feature craft beer, authentic German food, and live music. There will also be German-inspired eats from popular food trucks and a stein-hoisting competition. Limited-edition Oktoberfest swag will be available for purchase. Oktoberfest will be held at Fort Myers Brewing Company. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
