There have been several recent additions to businesses in the area. Samuel J. Gray has joined Simmons Perine Moyer Bergman’s litigation practice group in Cedar Rapids. Additionally, Mercy Respiratory Clinic in Cedar Rapids welcomes three new doctors: Dr. Giovanni Cordova, Dr. Syed Jawad Shah, and Dr. Brian Witt.
In terms of promotions, Vanessa Jackson has been promoted to Recruiter II at Skywalk Group’s Promotion Department. Meanwhile, Todd Fanning, the chief financial officer of North Liberty-based Green State Credit Union, has been named interim chief executive officer following the retirement of Jeff Diesterhoft. The credit union’s board has enlisted research firm Spencer Stewart to find candidates for the permanent CEO role.
Congratulations are in order for Matthew Adam of Simmons Perine Moyer Bergman, who has been named the 2024 “Lawyer of the Year” in construction law by Best Lawyers.
In other news, the SCORE East Central Iowa Chapter will be hosting a workshop on Wednesday, September 27th at the Cedar Rapids Public Library downtown. This workshop is free and includes lunch.
