HP Village Management recently purchased the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City and shared their vision for the future of the district. KSHB 41’s JuYeon Kim reached out to current Plaza businesses to get their input on what changes they would like to see. Joey Daniels, a manager at Ice Cream Bae, emphasized the importance of safety. He suggested implementing a curfew for people under 21 due to recent incidents.
Nick Nikkhah, the owner of 3DHQ, hopes that the new ownership will focus on bringing more local shops to the Plaza. He is eager to see local restaurants and businesses thrive in the area. Like Daniels, Nikkah also highlighted the need for improved security measures. He mentioned that theft is a common issue for many neighboring businesses and welcomed the presence of armed guards as a positive step towards enhancing safety on the Plaza.
