Despite a recent low-scoring performance, Caitlin Clark has demonstrated her strength as a rookie in the WNBA and for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Despite a rough week, which included a challenging game and being involved in drama with Chennedy Carter, Clark has remained focused on improving her game. This dedication has earned her the top spot in CBS Sports’ latest WNBA Rookie Rankings.
Although Clark only scored three points in a recent game, she showcased better stats in other games throughout the week, including a career-high 30 points in a loss to the Sparks. Currently, she ranks second in the league in 3-pointers made and is among the top five in assists per game. Clark’s ability to lead her team’s offense early in the season has been remarkable.
Following closely behind Clark in the rankings are Angel Reese, Rickea Jackson, and Cameron Brink at numbers two, three, and four, respectively. Indiana Fever, with Clark on the roster, will face the Washington Mystics next on June 7.
