Caitlin Clark to Make WNBA Debut in Texas

The WNBA is experiencing a surge in popularity, with this year’s draft class generating excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season. The Dallas Wings have lined up two highly-anticipated matchups for their first games of the season, promising to draw in more viewers.

Leading the spotlight is the WNBA’s first overall draft pick, Iowa guard Caitlin Clark, who will make her debut with the Indiana Fever against the Dallas Wings in Arlington for their first preseason game. Originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m., the game has been moved to prime time with tip-off now set for 7 p.m. on May 3 at College Park Center.

Not only will Clark be making waves in Dallas, but another college standout, LSU forward Angel Reese, drafted by the Chicago Sky at No. 7, will also be making her WNBA debut against the Wings. The regular season opener will take place on May 15 at 7 p.m., bringing even more excitement to the court.

For fans eager to secure their seats, tickets for individual games will be available for purchase starting at 10 a.m. on April 18 on the Dallas Wings’ website. Season ticket holders will have the added perk of free access to the preseason game. With a lineup of star-studded matchups and promising new talent, the Dallas Wings are gearing up for an action-packed season that is sure to captivate audiences.
