Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink sustained a torn ACL in her left knee during a WNBA game against the Connecticut Sun on June 18, 2024. The injury occurred in the first quarter as Brink was driving to the basket and her knee buckled, causing her to fall to the floor in pain. She had to be assisted off the court by her teammates and trainers.

The Sparks announced Brink’s injury on Wednesday after she underwent further evaluation following the game. It was determined that she would require surgery to repair the torn ACL, which will likely sideline her for an extended period of time.

Brink, a rookie for the Sparks, was seen as a key player for the team and her absence will be felt on the court. Her teammates and fans are wishing her a speedy recovery as she begins the rehabilitation process for her knee injury.
