Candidates for new Signa supervisory board leaders announced

The shareholders of Signa Prime and Signa Development are required to approve the planned trust restructuring at the upcoming extraordinary general meetings. Wolfgang Hesoun, Michael Mitterdorfer, and Sebastian Schäfer have been suggested as members of the supervisory boards.

The restructuring of Signa Prime and Signa Development will be comprehensive, with shareholders needing to give approval for the trust restructuring and reappointment of the supervisory boards. Alfred Gusenbauer has recommended expanding the supervisory board of Signa Development and electing new members. The proposed new board members include Wolfgang Hesoun, real estate experts Christoph Schäffer and Michael Mitterdorfer, Karin Exner-Wöhrer, and Claudia Badstammer.

Christoph Stadhuber, a member of Signa Holding Board, is set to be replaced on the supervisory boards of Signa Prime and Signa Development. Jürgen-Johann Rupp will continue to sit on both boards. Additionally, six new supervisors are expected to be appointed to the Signa Prime supervisory board, including Michael Mitterdorfer, Karin Exner-Wöhrer, and Sebastian Schäfer.

There is significant interest in purchasing the shell of the planned Signa luxury department store Lamarr in Vienna. Over 30 bidders are reportedly interested in the property. Meanwhile, progress is being made on the insolvency proceedings for the company, with claims worth 340 million euros filed.
