Cardiff midfielder Evans agrees to new contract

Midfielder Kieron Evans has extended his contract with Cardiff City until at least the 2024-25 season, with an option to stay for the following campaign. The 22-year-old, who came up through the ranks of the Bluebirds academy, recently helped Gateshead win the FA Trophy while on loan for the second half of the 2023-24 season. Additionally, Evans has gained experience from loan spells at Linfield and Torquay United.

Reflecting on his time at the club, Evans expressed his excitement about continuing his journey with Cardiff City. He mentioned that being at the club for 12 years has been fulfilling and extending his contract for another year was the perfect decision for him.
