Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti had high praise for Vinicius Junior after the team’s victory over Girona, calling him the ‘best in the world’ following his standout performance. Vinicius Jr not only opened the scoring but also provided assists for Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo Goes, contributing to a comfortable win for Madrid.

Bellingham’s two goals helped Madrid extend their lead over Girona at the top of the league standings, but it was Vinicius who received special recognition from Ancelotti. The head coach mentioned that Vinicius Jr was the best in the world when asked to describe his performance, highlighting his exceptional contribution to the team’s success.

When questioned about the best players in the world outside of Vinicius, Ancelotti mentioned Bellingham, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga, and Kroos. Additionally, when asked about the possibility of signing Kylian Mbappe, Ancelotti emphasized his satisfaction with the players he currently has, dismissing the speculation.

The victory over Girona was considered one of the best performances and results of the season for Madrid. Ancelotti praised the team’s overall performance, emphasizing their strength in possession and transitions, although there was concern over Bellingham’s injury. Bellingham suffered a sprained ankle and his availability for the next match was uncertain.

Despite the injury, Madrid is preparing for their upcoming Champions League match against RB Leipzig, with Ancelotti hoping that Bellingham will be available for the game.
