Monday is World Children’s Day and this year, Derin was chosen to receive a special tour of CBS New York. Derin was given the opportunity to explore different parts of the studio, such as the control room, newsroom, and even tried her hand at doing the weather with John Elliott. She also had the chance to interview Cindy Hsu. This experience was made possible through the partnership between UNICEF USA and Nickelodeon Our World, which aims to empower children around the world. Nickelodeon is a part of Paramount Global, the parent company of CBS.
