CeeDee Lamb, a wide receiver for the Cowboys, has chosen not to attend the team’s voluntary offseason program as he seeks a new contract. Reports indicate that Lamb will also not be attending mandatory minicamp this week, resulting in around $100,000 in fines. As a first-round pick in 2020, Lamb is currently in the final year of his rookie contract under the fifth-year option, with a salary of $17.991 million in 2024.

After Justin Jefferson signed a lucrative contract extension this week, Lamb is now in line to negotiate his own deal as he looks to capitalize on his impressive performance. Lamb led the league in catches last season with 135, ending the year with 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns – all career highs for him. In his first four years playing 66 games, Lamb has accumulated 395 catches for 5,145 yards and scored 32 touchdowns.
