Lowell-based Central States Manufacturing Inc. has announced the hiring of Jennifer Davis as chief market officer. In this new role, Davis will be responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing, strategy, and innovation functions, as well as serving as the executive leader of the growing Central Storage Works business. Davis brings over twenty years of experience in executive marketing, operations, and general management from previous roles at companies such as Learfield, Amazon Web Services, and Honeywell. She is also the author of the book “Well Made Decisions” about organizational decision-making and strategy implementation. CEO Jim Sliker expressed his excitement about Davis joining the company and believes her leadership will be crucial for their continued evolution as a market leader.
Davis expressed her honor in joining Central States and commended the company for its positive culture, growth, strong customer relationships, and commitment to the community. Although based in Atlanta, Davis plans to relocate to Northwest Arkansas. Central States, founded in 1988, is a 100% employee-owned company with 11 manufacturing facilities and over 1,300 employee-owners. They serve a wide range of customers, including those in the commercial, architectural, post-frame, and residential sectors across the United States.
