ChargePoint Technology, a specialist in powder and liquid transfer, has recently introduced a new robotic material handling solution targeted at enhancing safety and efficiency in the production of solid dosage drugs.

This innovative robotics solution is specifically designed to streamline operations for manufacturers seeking to automate and modernize their production processes. It offers the flexibility to upgrade existing production lines or implement fully autonomous manufacturing systems in more advanced facilities.

The primary goal of this solution is to mitigate potential risks associated with manual handling by eliminating ergonomic concerns and reducing the likelihood of cross contamination from human contact. By integrating new PuroGrip and PuroVaso containers with the ChargePoint SBV, manufacturers can quickly implement a robust handling system using readily available components.

The robotic PuroGrip serves as a crucial link between robotic arms used in pharmaceutical production lines and ChargePoint’s lightweight PuroVaso containers. This enables the seamless docking of PuroVaso containers into ChargePoint’s automated Split Butterfly Valve, creating a contained solution for material transfer.

Chris Eccles, the CEO of ChargePoint Technology, emphasized the importance of contained robotic powder handling in driving the industry forward. Many customers have already turned to ChargePoint for solutions to enhance their manufacturing processes, underscoring the demand for speed, quality, and safety in pharmaceutical production. ChargePoint remains committed to evolving its solutions to meet the evolving needs of its customers and provide the best technology for their manufacturing requirements.
